It's pretty easy to set the alerts up. You simply need to click the 'Activate' option after installing the program and you're then presented with a series of five options. The first is to toggle between Activate and Deactivate. The second option, 'Remind about Missed' lets you select whether to be reminded about missed calls, messages, or emails by ticking the appropriate boxes.

Clicking 'Remind period' lets you enter the number of seconds between each alert, while 'Alarm' allows you to choose a tone to play. You can either use the default WM alarm or browse to any audio file on your device and use that as the alert. Unfortunately you can't set the volume level of the alarm from within Best Reminder.

The final option, 'Time Restriction' is very useful because it helps you ensure that the alerts don't play all night while you're in bed. You simply select a start and end time during which the alarm is permitted to sound.
